"Families are as diverse as individuals. The activities they do together vary, but one thing is true for all of them: "In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time." Whether family members get together for scheduled outings, sharing interests, or serving others, these gatherings strengthen relationships that can be eternal."
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Congrats Brittny and Jason!

Photo Booth Fun

At Brittny and Jason's wedding they had a SUPER cute Photo Booth.  We had a lot of FUN in there!

Jason and Brittny's Wedding

On May 30th Jason and Brittny got MARRIED!  Jason got baptized in November so they did their wedding in my parents backyard.  Brittny looked BEAUTIFUL!!!!!  This is Preston (her dad) walking her down the isle.  Yes, her dress is a size 2!
Brittny and Jason looked so happy.  The weather was nice and there were lots of people there to share their special day!
Brittny and Jason Holmes.  The happy, sweet, married couple!
Oh, look another happily married couple!!!!!
Our good friends - The Fosters - also came to the wedding.  Brittny watched their kids a few times.  Before the wedding we went to Red Lobster for dinner. YUM!
Carley looked so pretty and her hair was adorable.  She made a very CUTE flower girl.

These are some of my cousins and aunts on the Heywood side.

My parents and the happy couple.
Brittny's colors were blue and pink.  It was so pretty.  She had lots of food and lots of CANDY!  She had all kinds of pink and blue candy..... even Cotton Candy!
Sweet baby Conner.  He is such a great baby!  This is Steven and Elizabeth's new baby.  He is the 14th grandchild.
Oh look.... another happily married couple.  Sheri and Michael
And another.... Elizabeth and Steven!
Brittny and Jason were so cute and said a few words to the guests.
The bouquet toss!  Carley (who is 8) caught the bouquet.  I am sure there were a lot of single ladies who hope Carley is NOT the next one to get married!

The cake fight!  They must REALLY love each other.  I remember threatening Brian if he even dared smear the cake in my face.  Now, I think it would be funny!  I was a little too uptight on my wedding day- 12 years ago!
Oh good, they kissed and made up!
Cotton Candy Man...aka...Spencer!  He was the MOST HANDSOME cotton candy man that I had ever seen.  (And I have definitely seen my share of cotton candy men!)
Ok- I can't believe I am even putting these pictures up.  They may come down shortly (well, at least until my mom reads my blog- which, actually could take awhile!)  We (ok, not me) so- THEY decorated the car!
THEY wrote on the car, blew up ballons, made interesting shapes and accessories, and made them a ride fit for a KING and QUEEN!  (well, maybe a porn star and her pimp)  Ugh... how old are we again?

Then, the more sensible ones let us know the error of our... I mean THEIR ways and they cleaned it up a bit!
Here we are getting BUSTED!  Good thing there were some grown ups there!
We all had a fabulous night!  The wedding was beautiful, the reception was amazing, the company was outstanding and the laughs were memorable!
Congratulations Brittny and Jason!  We wish you all the best!  We hope you had as much fun as we did!!!!!!

Blake's Preschool Graduation

Our sweet Blake had his preschool graduation!  He has gone to Tammy's Treasures this past year and has LOVED it!  She is such a great teacher and makes the kids feel so loved.
Blake is excited to graduate!!!!  Well, graduate to another year of Preschool!  Yeah, we get Mrs. Farnsworth for 1 more year!
Blake got up in front of everyone and said his memorized part. He did such a great job.  Here is what he said....
Clap your hands, Beat the drums, We are ready everyone!  (It was so cute and he did it all by himself!)
They sang songs and showed us some of the things they do during their days of preschool.  It really is so neat to see how much they learn in a year.
Mrs. Farnsworth is so great and said something special about each child in her class.  For Blake she said- He always does his best!  When he gets work to do, he just does it and he does a great job at it.  She has taught him so much.  He knows all his color words and can read all of them, he can write anything that she puts on the board for him, he knows his numbers, colors, shapes....he is so smart!  Mrs. Farnsworth adjusts what she does for each kid.  She makes Blake feel so smart and I think that is why he has done so well.  We LOVE Mrs. Farnsworth so much.  Not only is she Blake's preschool teacher, she is in our ward AND she is Chase's Scout leader.  She is fabulous and we are so thankful for her!

Blake and some of his preschool friends.  We can't wait to see most of you again in August.  Blake's best friend TJ is also in his class.  TJ and Blake are so cute together and I am glad he has such a great friend!

Brittny's Bridal Shower

Brittny... The Beautiful Blushing Bride
Brittny with her mother and soon to be mother-in-law.
Emily and Sheri
Mom, Linda, Elizabeth, Me and Julz
Brittny opening her gifts.  Emily and Lindsay put together a Gluten free basket for Brittny.  It was so cute.  Lots of cooking utensils, gluten free mixes and even a cookbook with some Gluten free recipes in it.
The lingerie....always a must at a bridal shower.  There were also a few "novelty gifts" in the bag.  (We had to ask the little girls to go upstairs).  The look on her face is priceless!
This is my cute cousin Carley!  We matched that night so we just had to get a picture!
All the girls!!!!  Good luck Brittny!  We are so excited for you.  Jason is such a great guy and the two of you are so cute together.  We wish you the best and can't wait for the big wedding day!
