Blake had a fun Halloween party this year at school. He wanted to wear his Spiderman costume (from 2 years ago). Oh well- the things we let our kids do the more kids we have! They had a great time playing games and eating treats.
I am so grateful for all the amazing people that Hayden has in her life. She has family that loves her so much and wants to make her birthday so special. After her party- Grandma Heywood took her for their annual birthday shopping trip. Hayden picked out many Littlest Pet Shop toys and a stuffed panda. So cute! Then, we went to the mailbox and the BELOVED Birthday card from Great Grandma Magnusson was there!!!!! Hayden was so excited to open it and Brylee was there to share in the joy! That night Brylee spent the night and these 2 girls were in heaven. They had so much fun playing with all of Hayden's new toys and just talking and having fun. Thanks to EVERYONE who helped make Hayden's day so special!
We ended the day at the Pumpkin Patch jumping in the bounce house, running through the maze, looking at the animals, running around and getting really dirty! We opened presents, ate lunch and had Krispy Kreme donuts. Thank you to all of Hayden's family and friends!!! You made her day so special and we are thankful for all of you!
The kids had so much fun decorating pumpkins and going on the hayride. The weather was perfect and we had a blast.
Picking out the perfect Pumpkin at the Pumpkin Patch is always fun! Chase wanted a big pumpkin but wanted it to be perfect in color and shape. Hayden preferred a small, perfectly round pumpkin with a perfect stem. Blake wanted the biggest pumpkin he could find even though half of it was green and all marked up. Lauren did not care she just wanted something to put stickers on.
For Hayden's birthday we went to the Pumpkin Patch with a bunch of friends and cousins. The weather was perfect and we had such a fun time.
I can't believe Hayden is 7! Next year she will be baptized. Hayden is such a joy to have in our family. She is the BEST big sister anyone could have. She has a great imagination and loves to play all kinds of games. She is a great helper with Blake and Lauren and loves her role as big sister. She is funny, kind, caring, spunky, and smart. We love her so much!
I had a great birthday weekend that even stretched into the next week! On Saturday, Sheri watched our kids while Brian and I went to Benihana's for dinner (one of my favorites). Then we went shopping (another of my favorites). On Tuesday, my mom took me shopping and then my sister and sister-in-laws met me for lunch at Gecko Grill (another favorite) and dessert at Golden Spoon. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes, cards, phone calls, treats and gifts. I had a GREAT birthday week!
My Dad and nephew Beau share the same birthday. On Sept. 28th we celebrated at the park. We had all just gotten back from our various vacations but we all still managed to be there to wish them a happy birthday!
