"Families are as diverse as individuals. The activities they do together vary, but one thing is true for all of them: "In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time." Whether family members get together for scheduled outings, sharing interests, or serving others, these gatherings strengthen relationships that can be eternal."
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Happy Halloween

Halloween Time! The kids love it and I even really loved it this year! We had such a fun time getting all the kids costumes together and I even did face painting on the boys and face makeup on the girls (I have done this many times before) but, it was a first to do it on the boys. Chase was a zombie, Hayden was Clawdeen Wolf from Monster High, Blake was an Endermann from Minecraft and Lauren was Ariel with red hair and all! After getting all ready we headed over to Steven and Elizabeth's house for our annual Halloween party! All the family and some extended family came and we had delicious soup in bread bowls and yummy desserts. Grandpa and Grandma dressed up and some of the kids were very afraid of Grandpa's costume. After we ate the kids and adults were off to trick-or-treat. It was another fun Halloween with family and good times.

Disney Halloween

In keeping with our Disney theme this year I had a great Disney surprise waiting for the kids when they got home from school on Halloween! A basket full of Disney themed Halloween goodies.

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

Titan is soooo cute as Mickey Mouse! It gave me flashbacks to Chase's 2nd Halloween when he was Mickey Mouse. I can't believe how quickly time flies. Now my little boy who wore this Mickey costume is 11!

Halloween Dance

Lauren LOVES her dance class and was so excited when she got to wear her halloween costume to dance! I love how they are all PRINCESSES!

We had such a fun day that started at our neighborhood Halloween party. They had a bounce house, cake walk, face painting, pumpkin decorating, games, snowcones..... It was a lot of fun for the kids! After that we went to Schnepf Farms with the Foster's. Thanks to Mary Heywood we were able to get in for free! THANKS AGAIN MARY! We all had a great time and even enjoyed a dog show and fireworks at the end. Thanks for a fun evening.... Brent, Steph, Hailey, Blake, Chloe and Kate.

Opening presents.

A pretty butterfly princess.

Grandma took Lauren shopping and she picked a Lalaoopsy Doll!
We needed to celebrate a little more so we got the BEST cousins and Lauren's best friend Kate and headed to McD's! What a fun afternoon spent celebrating Lauren's birthday and making her feel special. Love you princess!

Look Who's 4!

Lauren has been so excited to turn 4! Ella and Beau always get to turn 4 before her so the countdown is always on starting in August for Lauren to have her birthday. On top of that she has to wait for my birthday and then Hayden's. So, needless to say it seems like an eternity for it to get here. BUT... when it arrived... we had some FUN! I can't believe my baby is 4!!!

I’m am 4 years old.
I still drink chocolate milk with a straw and get yelled at for making bubbles.
I sing when I walk down the street.
I’m always the first one to run out to the ice cream man in the summer time.
I still pee with the door open and dance to the sound of the shower.
I run into my sister’s room when it’s time to go to bed and ask her to tell me a story.
I still believe in the tooth fairy.
My favorite holiday is Christmas & I stay up extra late to see if I can catch a glimpse of Santa.
I still hop around my neighborhood handing out Easter eggs and pretending I’m the Easter bunny.
I sleep with my blankie and mommy every night.
My polly pockets still keeps me company in the shower.
When it rains I run outside in the mud.
Electricity plugs still fascinate me.
Catching lighting bugs outside marks the start of the summer.
I still run around the house with underwear on my head.
Socks and flip-flops are still a major "fashion yes"!
Skimpy shorts and tank tops don’t interest me, I’d rather be wearing my leotard and tutu.
Growing up is for nerds.
STAY LITTLE BABY GIRL!

Lauren's Birthday Dinner

So glad I captured this on camera. Every time we go out to eat Brian plays this game with the kids. He starts to draw a picture and the kids have to guess what it is. Everytime they guess wrong he adds a little more to the picture until they guess it right!

After preschool and the kids getting home from school we took them to Tailgaters Grill for Lauren's birthday dinner. We had a great time and Lauren felt like a star! Then, as we were driving home we stopped at the mailbox. Inside was the coveted Birthday Card from Grandma Mag. Lauren could not contain her excitement and let's be honest the other kids were pretty jealous!
