For Lindsay and Josh's Birthdays we went to Mi Amigos for dinner!  We had such a great time with the Figs, Heywood's, Huber's, Peterson's, and Holmes'.

Running Club

Oh.... running club.  Chase, Hayden and Blake did running club this year with a little coaxing from me.  The Foster's also did it and that was nice for car pooling.  However, I will have to say that we did not realize what we were getting into.  Early morning running club (for us) was a bad idea.  I think a mixture of 7am, dark outside and freezing cold weather was a bad combination.  I had to wake up the kids from a deep sleep each morning of running club.  Not to mention having Stephanie be MY alarm clock (with a phone call).  We were always so tired.  I really wanted the kids to stick it out and finish something they started.  I on the other hand was not sure I could stick it out.  Well, we did the first race and and went to most of the practices and I will just leave it at that.  Unless running club gets moved to after school--- these will be the last running club pictures of the kids.

Valentine's Day

Since I did not take a single picture of my kids on Valentine's day please enjoy this cutie.  Baby Cali... just can't get enough of her!  We really did have a nice Valentine's day.  We gave the kids gifts and candy and went to dinner.  It was really fun but I did not capture the moment with the camera.  Oh well, next year... right?

Cali..." Let's go 2- 7-11"

I'm pretty sure for the rest of Cali's life she will hear this phrase often...

"Hey, Cali- Let's go 2-7-11!"

When we vacation in California we always take the kids to 7-11.  

This just happens to be Cali's birthdate.

Cali is named after this great tradition!... I think?

Every time Julz has been pregnant so have I.  She was pregnant with Kaden and I was pregnant with Chase.  They are 6 months apart and the best of friends.  She was pregnant with her twins- Brylee and Branson and I was pregnant with Hayden.  They are 4 months apart, and Brylee and Hayden are the best of friends.  Then, I had Blake... Julz was very busy with twins remember.  But, Blake and Branson really get along well.  They are 2.5 years apart.  Then, she was pregnant with Ella and I was pregnant with Lauren.  They are 10 weeks apart and are the best of friends.

She decided to have one more.... sweet baby Cali.  Luckily my sister was having another baby and it was a girl too.  My sister-in-law Elizabeth is also having a girl soon. So, Cali will always have "best friend cousins" and I won't feel so guilty.  It was always my job to give Julz "best friend cousins" for her kids.  We are so glad to have baby Cali here- we love her so much!
