"Families are as diverse as individuals. The activities they do together vary, but one thing is true for all of them: "In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time." Whether family members get together for scheduled outings, sharing interests, or serving others, these gatherings strengthen relationships that can be eternal."
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Grandpa and Grandma-- always make Christmas fun!  Sheri and I got them a Raymond picture of the Temple with their wedding date on it.
This year we made Grandma Mag a book of what we love about her with a picture of each one of us in it.  It turned out so cute and she thought it was so special!  We love you Grandma Mag!

We finished off the night with a game of darts.
My parents always have a great Christmas Day dinner at their house.  We went over there around 3pm.  We opened our gifts from them, and my siblings and I exchange names and open our gifts from each other.  Then, around 4pm the Figs and my Grandma Mag and Maureen come over.  My mom does the best dinner.  It is all different kinds of appetizers-- meatballs, little pizzas, wings, cheese sticks, quiche, mini pigs in a blanket, frape, 7 layer dip, cookies, chocolates, crab dip, cheese and crackers, fruit, dip....... so much stuff.  It is my absolute favorite!  Mom and Dad- I am so grateful for you and all you do for us!  You guys always make everything so much fun- you are the BEST!!!  Then, around 6pm my brother called from his mission.  It was so good to talk to him!  We also got to talk to my cousin Josh Figueroa who is on his mission in Jamaica.  They are both doing so well and I am so proud of them both.

Christmas Pajamas

The kids getting ready to open their Christmas Pajamas.

All of us in our matching shirts.

Every Christmas Brian draws a Christmas shirt and we have them made into T-shirt transfers and pressed on to shirts.  This years shirt said, "It's Great!  Christmas 2008!" (Oh yeah, every year it rhymes.)  This is another fun tradition.  My Mom even sent one to my brother that is on a mission.

Playing the Bells- Everyone gets a bell and a nail and we sing Christmas songs and play the bells.  We have done this every Christmas since I was a little girl.

WE always end the night singing 12 Days of Christmas as fast as possible!!!! This is definatly the highlight of the night!
Every Christmas Eve we get together with the Magnussons!  It is a great tradition we have done since I was very little.  We have a fabulous dinner, put on the Christmas Nativity program (Julz you do a fantastic job!), play the bells, sing songs, eat treats and have a great time!!!!!  This year was a little different because Grandpa Mag was not there.  It was sad to have him gone but we know we will see him again.
