"Families are as diverse as individuals. The activities they do together vary, but one thing is true for all of them: "In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time." Whether family members get together for scheduled outings, sharing interests, or serving others, these gatherings strengthen relationships that can be eternal."
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Lauren had an amazing Halloween Party at preschool. Mrs. Farnsworth always goes all out and makes the kids feel so special. It was Lauren's birthday so she made her a birthday crown and gave her a bag full of fun crafts, princess socks and goodies. We love you Mrs. Farnsworth!

Mis-Matched Day

For the 1st time ever my kids got to have mis-matched day at school. Every day they wear uniform. Occasionally, they have a free dress day but this was different. They could wear whatever they wanted as long as it was mis-matched. My kids went crazy with it. From their hair to their clothes to their socks and shoes! It was so fun and the kids are really hoping they get to do it again!

Date with my Daddy

For my Dad's birthday my sister and I wanted to take him out and treat him! (Since he ALWAYS treats us.) We went to a restaurant of his choice... Macaroni Grill. It was so good and my sister and I had the best time with our Dad. I LOVE my Dad so much. He is the kind of Dad that will do anything for you, will always tell you he loves you, when it comes to his family he wears his emotions on his sleeve, he is so generous and he LOVES to be with his family. He always says... "No empty chairs at my table." He loves to have fun (I know where I get this trait from). He is a man who works so hard but, he knows how to play hard too. He loves to plan vacations and takes so much joy in the planning of it as well as the actual trip. (I definitely have this trait as well.) I could never thank my Dad enough for all that he has done for me, my family, and my siblings. He is the BEST!!!!! I love you to infinity and beyond! Happy Birthday Daddy!

Flag Football Fun

Another season of flag football! Chase has had such a great time. His coach and teammates are wonderful! They all played so well together. Chase scored many touchdowns and was great at every position he played. It is so fun to watch the games!

The Rides...

Ready...
Set...
Go...
Ahhhhh...

Let me just say... our kids LOVE rides! This is the only reason they love the fair! I love the food, they love the rides! In fact, Lauren said, "the next time we come to the fair let's not eat, let's just ride the rides." She had a hard time when we would stop to eat. She wanted to keeping getting on rides.

Arizona State Fair

The start of our Fun Fair Day!
Biggest corn dog I've ever seen! Blake loved it!
We are having so much fun!

The Huber's were with us too!

Petting the animals....
Brinlee loved this one the best!
My best, most favorite sister!

The opening day of the fair was here! My sister texted me and asked if I wanted to go to the Fair. Sure I said. She asked if I was joking and I said, No, Let's go! So, we packed up the kids and headed to Phoenix. Well, let's just say that everything about going to the fair is an.....experience. As we were waiting to turn in to the parking area there was a man walking down the street... his face and shirt were covered in blood. People were passing him and he just kept walking and no one said anything. In Gilbert, if I saw that, I probably would have called 911 or asked if the person needed help. Not there, that was like a daily, no big deal scene.
Once we got into the fair and parked we were ready for fun! The Huber's were not too far behind so we waited for them and then off we went! Dinner was delicious and in fair tradition we ate at the San Tan Branch Indian Fry Bread (yum), nachos and corndogs. We even had cotton candy, ice cream, and chocolate covered bacon.

Admission to the fair- $1.00 per person (opening day special)
