"Families are as diverse as individuals. The activities they do together vary, but one thing is true for all of them: "In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time." Whether family members get together for scheduled outings, sharing interests, or serving others, these gatherings strengthen relationships that can be eternal."
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

The kids loved playing in the sand with their cousins.  They came up with so many fun games and activities.  From morning until night they all played together and enjoyed every minute of it!

Enjoying Carlsbad

One of our many trips to Cessy's
One of many trips to 7-11
One of our many trips to Swirlicious!

Yummy Swirlicious!  (I could eat this everyday!)
We have our many traditions when we are in California.  One day we may branch out and experience some of the other sights in Carlsbad.

Back to Cali and back to the Mormon Batallion!

The Mormon Batallion
Blake and Brock

Chase was picked to dress up as one of the men that made the long trek.
Lauren loved the cannon.
Panning for gold... the kids favorite.

Chase pumping water.
Lauren washing clothes.

We headed back to California and had a great time!  We pulled the kids out of school and spent a week enjoying the beautiful California weather.  On Sunday, we headed back to the Mormon Batallion.  Grandma, Sheri, Belle, Brock, Beau, myself, Chase, Hayden, Blake and Lauren had a great time.  The kids really love this place and remembered so many things about it from the last time we were there.

Happy Birthday Sheri!

Happy Birthday sister!  I love you so much!  I love that I talk to you on the phone up to 10 times a day!  I love that you get me and love me for it!  I love that you are a dictator.  I love that we think alike on many things.  I love that you don't freak out to quickly about things and try to keep me in check when I do freak out quickly!  I love that you are having a baby so that I can still get my baby fix.  I love that you are my sister.  Hope you have a great day.

WILD Weekend!

For Christmas my mom gave all the granddaughters a matching blanket, slippers, and a FUN weekend sleepover.  Well, this was the weekend and the girls were so excited!!!  They received an invitation for a Wild and Wacky Women's Weekend!  They needed to wear a wacky hairstyle.  So, here is Hayden all ready for her wild weekend with her wacky hair!

The best Grandma ever!

Thank you Grandma for the amazing weekend.  Hayden had such a fun time with you and her girl cousins.  It was wacky and wild and very memorable!  We love you so much!

My Little Reesee!

I love Reese's.  I love them in ice cream, straight out of the wrapper, pie, mini reese's, big cup reese's, Reese's cereal... all form of Reese's.  Maybe that is how I came up with the nickname that I call Lauren.  Somehow Lauren Marie came to be Reesee!

Blake is the STAR Student

This week Blake was the STAR student at school.  He was so excited to be able to bring Freedom Bear home with him.  We took him to Grandma's and did lots of fun things with Freedom Bear.  We made a poster all about Blake and on Friday I got to go into Blake's class and watch him present his poster and then we ate lunch together.  He requested I bring in Taco Bell.  It was so fun to spend the afternoon with Blake at school.
