"Families are as diverse as individuals. The activities they do together vary, but one thing is true for all of them: "In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time." Whether family members get together for scheduled outings, sharing interests, or serving others, these gatherings strengthen relationships that can be eternal."
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

The Ring Ceremony

What a beautiful ring ceremony. Josh's uncle did a great job and said some of the nicest things. The whole day was so beautiful and this was just a continuation of that beauty.

Lauren LOVES Katelin

When Brian got to the ring ceremony with the girls, Lauren had fallen asleep in the car. Needless to say that made for a "not very happy Lauren." I was rushing to get to the backyard for the ring ceremony and worried that Lauren was going to lose it. She had a mad, grouchy face and I thought at any moment she was going to burst into tears. Instantly, the first person Lauren saw when we came through the back doors was Katelin. She immediately smiled, perked up and ran to Katelin. Katelin scooped her up and Lauren was smitten. She was happy and excited and was such a joy to have there.
She has loved Katelin since the moment she met her. She would not leave her side the whole time at the condo. If she saw Katelin that is where she wanted to be. Thank you Katelin for loving my Lauren so much and always making her feel important.... even on YOUR wedding day! We love you Katelin!

The Beautiful Bride and her Dress

It was time for Katelin to put back on her dress for all the festivities of the evening. We still had some important events and a lot of fun to have. We helped Katelin get her dress on and touch up her hair and make up. She was stunning!

The Luncheon- At Our Favorite Spot

After the sealing we headed to where else.... that place where everybody knows your name... the party room at Mi Amigos! We even have it down as to how we set up the tables and most of the time just let ourselves right in. We have eaten more family dinners here than any other restaurant. The food is good but, we love that they have a large room that will fit us and we can usually get in there in with very little notice. It was fun to sit and relax and enjoy some food with our amazing family and to reflect on the days events. We did not have too much time as we had a reception to get ready for. Now... on to more FUN!!!

For Time and For All Eternity

What a beautiful day to get married. Whoever said that Friday the 13th is unlucky did not get to experience THIS Friday the 13th. First of all... the weather was beautiful. Nice temperature and very little wind (Katelin had fasted and prayed for good weather) and her prayer was answered. *** My dad said the next time he really wants something he is going to have Katelin fast and pray for him!*** Next, the sealing ceremony was truly amazing. I had some of the best feelings and thoughts as I watched Josh and Katelin be sealed for time and for all eternity. Katelin has the most amazing parents who waited in the foyer for her and supported her all the way! So many of their friends came from all over and there was lots of family. Katelin looked like a princess. She was stunning. She is truly beautiful inside and out. I am so happy for Josh and Katelin. They are perfect for each other and today was the beginning of their life together.

Katelin and Josh

Tomorrow is the BIG day! Katelin and Josh are getting married! We could not be more excited! These two are so cute, fun and perfect for each other.

Josh and Katelin- The "Roast"

After eating a delicious meal it was time for THE ROAST! Cody did a great job as the main roaster. He was funny, witty and not to harsh. He had lots of funny jokes and started off the the roast just right. Josh and Katelin's family and friends got up and told funny stories. I love the look on Katelin's face when Seth got up to tell about the times when he and Josh were younger and use to pee together out in my parents basement courtyard. Yep... they went there!
The stories were funny and then there were two girls who embarrassed themselves and made it awkward for a few moments and they shall remain nameless. These were Spencer's exact words.... "It was so awkward I had to look down at the floor." Yep!
Sheri had a great story that she did not share on stage but did later and the not sharing it on stage may or may not have been part of the awkward moment.
Here is her bit of ROASTING.... everyone was talking about how much Josh loved hunting and sports and that he is such a tough guy.... well, he is a tough, manly guy BUT, you put him on a ride at Disneyland and he screams like a little girl! (It's true, he hates rides.)
Thanks for a great night and we can't wait for the wedding festivities tomorrow!
