"Families are as diverse as individuals. The activities they do together vary, but one thing is true for all of them: "In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time." Whether family members get together for scheduled outings, sharing interests, or serving others, these gatherings strengthen relationships that can be eternal."
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

It's Christmas Eve!!!...

I really love Christmas Eve.  We started out the day playing games, then we went to Americopy (my dad does the best Christmas Eve lunch catered by Gecko Grill- can you say Green corn tamales????? - YES and YUM!), then we went to the mall to get Cinnabon, went to Grandma's house for a little bit and then went back  home to get freshened up for the evening.  What a great day spent with my favorite people in the world!

Movie Night at Grandma and Grandpa's House

Movie night at Grandma and Grandpa's house is such a fun tradition.  Every year at Christmas time we roast hot dogs, make smores, drink hot chocolate and watch a movie outside.  We bundle up and bring pillows and blankets and enjoy being with all our cousins.

Cookies With Grandma

Grandma had her annual cookie making with the grandkids.  They had so much fun and are looking forward to next year!

Grandma Polly's 81st Birthday

On December 16th Grandma Polly celebrated her 81st birthday.  We went up to celebrate her special day.

After that we went to see where Grandpa Cid is buried.  We found it and it was so neat to visit that spot.
Then, we headed up to Jerome.  What a cute little town.  We found this great restaurant that had really good food.

We also found a fudge shop that had REALLY good fudge.  They had probably 50 different flavors.  We had to sample some of them!  Our favorites were the orange cream, heath bar and mint chocolate.

Finally, we headed home and Lauren did not disappoint.  She barfed in the car.  We stopped at the Rock Springs cafe area and cleaned her up.
And... took some fun pics of the other kids.

One last stop before arriving home--- the Outlets!  What great deals!  We had a great day and just enjoyed being together.

Black Friday 2009

Linda, Cody, Sheri and Stacey

I LOVE Black Friday!!!  I got up at 3:30am and headed to Walmart.  Sheri met me there later (well, about 6:30am) and we started our most favorite shopping day!  After Walmart we went to Toys R Us, then the mall, Target and Old Navy.  We had a blast!!!!  Linda and Cody met up with us and we went to Mi Amigos.  It is always fun with the Fig's!  The bottom picture we are cracking up as Linda is telling our waitress/photographer that her camera is a FILM camera. (We were all laughing so hard (including our waitress/photographer) that she accidentally pushed the button and captured this picture of us laughing!  I can't wait for next year!
