"Families are as diverse as individuals. The activities they do together vary, but one thing is true for all of them: "In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time." Whether family members get together for scheduled outings, sharing interests, or serving others, these gatherings strengthen relationships that can be eternal."
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Lauren - 23 months

Well, this sweet baby girl will be 2 in  just a few weeks.  Where has time gone and why will it not slow down?  I really love her so much and she is so fun to have around.  She talks so much and my favorite is listening to her go on and on when she is telling on someone.  She is really liking Spongebob right now and it is definitely her show of choice.  She thinks everything is pink and really hates yellow popsicles.  She is still Hayden's shadow and mine.  She now thinks she needs lipstick on every time we leave the house or after she brushes her teeth.  She also wants to wear her shoes around the house all day long and still always wants a bow in her hair.  She loves to play with her cousins, Ella and Beau.  She loves to sing and dance and put on little shows for us and have us all watch her. We love you baby girl and are so grateful to have you in our family!

She's a Fairrington!

It's official... Fairrington kid #4 gets carsick.  Anytime we travel in our car- which is a lot, one of our kids throws up.  Lauren had not yet done it so I thought maybe she would be different.  NOPE!  In the middle of nowhere- somewhere between Vegas and Phoenix Lauren threw up all over her carseat.  We ended up at a do-it-yourself carwash ( in Wickenberg I believe) spraying out her carseat.  (I took this picture of her while Brian was spraying out her carseat).  So, now it is dramamine for all the kids before anymore road trips!

Our Last Day in Vegas

Lunch at Bahama Breeze with Daryl
A few more games!
New York, New York Roller Coaster (Yes, I did!)

Our last day in Vegas we went to lunch with Daryl at Bahama Breeze.  Afterwards, we went back to the New York, New York hotel.  Chase wanted to ride that roller coaster soooo bad so for the PURE LOVE of my child I went on it with him.  I kept my eyes closed the whole time but I still did it.  We had fun doing this together and I would do it all over again if he asked me to even though my life was flashing before my eyes.  We had a great time in VEGAS and I can't wait until we go back!

Great Family Bonding

When we do a family trip it is always such a great way for my kids to have fun together.  It is fun to go with cousins but an individual family trip is always nice because then the kids rely on each other to play and have fun with.  I loved watching Chase and Hayden ride the rides together and to see them laughing and talking with each other in line was so fun!  They would play little games together and make up all kinds of fun things to do with each other.  I love my family so much and enjoy spending time with them.

The Funnest Game EVER!

The kids played this really fun game that they made up all by themselves.  They used the 2 wall sconces, the hanging light, bedside lamp and the front light and would run around the room trying to get all the lights either off or on.  The boys were the off team and the girls were the on team.  They played this over and over and when they were done (because it was time to leave) we were all laughing hysterically!

Freemont Street

Our last night in Vegas we took the kids to dinner at Tony Roma's...YUMMY!  Since they got rid of all the Tony's Romas here we have been craving it FOREVER!  After we ate we went out to Freemont Street and watch the light show.  The kids loved it!  After watching the light show we drove to The Stratosphere.  Chase had really wanted to go on the rides on the top of the hotel.  Well, when we got there it was going to cost our family $75 just to ride the elevator to the top of the hotel plus we would then have to pay to ride the rides.  Well, the thought of paying $75 just to go to the top and be a nervous wreck with the little kids... No way!  We told Chase maybe in a couple of years.  He's 9 and already wants to put his life in danger by going on crazy rides and giving me a heart attack.  After that Blake and Lauren were falling asleep so Brian dropped me and "the babies" off at the hotel and took Chase and Hayden to New York New York to ride the roller coaster.  When they got there Hayden was not tall enough to ride the ride.  So, they ended up playing a bunch of games and winning more toys!  They finally made it back to the hotel around 11pm!!!!  They had a great time and what a fun way to spend the last night!

Just Hanging Out

Watching movies
Snuggle time

Lots of Loves
While most of time we were on the go in Vegas.  We did have a few moments of just hanging out.  The kids would watch movies, play games, play with their new toys and one day (while Dad was at a meeting) we even all took a nap!  ALL OF US!!!  It was so fun to just relax a little bit.
