We did not want the birthday celebrations to end so the day after Hayden's birthday we went and got pedicures. Hayden got a mani and pedi and she is in LOVE with them now. She got spiders painted on her toes and nails. She was in heaven and can't wait to go back.
After eating at Red Lobster Hayden wanted to go to Build-A-Bear. We had a great time there and I'm so glad we did it. I don't think it will be too much longer before she considers this a store for "little kids."
For our kids birthday's we let them choose any restaurant they want to go eat at with just Mom and Dad. The kids look forward to this so much and so do Brian and I. Hayden picked her favorite... Red Lobster. She loves crab legs just as much as her parents.
Can it really be that my Hayden is 8!!! I don't ever remember giving her permission to grow up so fast. This year was her "magical" birthday. She turned 8 on the 8th! What a special birthday. She is going to be baptized in a week and is so excited. She is also VERY MUCH looking forward to Activity Days. Hayden you are such a sweet girl with an amazing spirit. You always try to do what is right. You are a great friend to others as well as your brothers and sister. I am so amazed at how smart and talented you are. Remember that your family loves you, your Heavenly Father loves you and that you are a special daughter with amazing abilities. I love you so much!
So, we can never just have one birthday celebration. We really do celebrate birthday weeks around here! I picked Gecko Grill for my birthday lunch and loved that my birthday girl Hayden came with us! After lunch we went shopping with Grandma. I got lots of stuff and Hayden left with a bunch of new toys. It is always fun shopping with Grandma!!! We love her so much!
I just love that my 2 girls and I share birthdays in October. My actual birthday this year fell on Conference Sunday. What a great day to have your birthday on. After conference we went to my parents and had a big birthday celebration! We had a great time.
For my birthday this year I chose Benihana's for dinner (again). It is one of my favorites! The food was so yummy! I love the scallops, lobster and shrimp. At the end they bring you the most delicious pineapple and then take a picture. After dinner we went to the movies and shopping (another favorite). It was a great birthday!
