"Families are as diverse as individuals. The activities they do together vary, but one thing is true for all of them: "In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time." Whether family members get together for scheduled outings, sharing interests, or serving others, these gatherings strengthen relationships that can be eternal."
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Brothers and Sisters and a MOM

Scott, Stacey, Sheri, Spencer and Sam

Us and our MOM
I love my siblings so much!  They are so much fun and are amazing people.  I love that we all live so close to each other and are able to spend so much time together.  The only sibling missing in these pictures is SETH.  He will be home in a few weeks from his mission and we are so excited.

Home Base at the SNOW

The man who makes all the FUN happen!!!
The baby girls- getting warm and watching a movie.
I wish I would have taken a picture of the amazing "home base" my Dad set up.  He had a stove for hot chocolate that was constantly flowing, snacks, chairs, a running car with heat (the whole time we were there), movies for the kids to watch.  It was so close to where we were sliding that you could just run  back for a sip of hot chocolate and then run back to the hills in a matter of seconds!  (I did feel bad for a lot of other people who had to park far away, had no "home base", had a terrible time getting out when it was time to leave and even a few crashed cars because of where they were parked.  I think my Dad is just a really great good luck charm.  He is always trying to make everything so fun and enjoyable for everyone and he always succeeds.  He really made the day amazing and easier on all of us!  THANKS AGAIN DAD- YOU ARE THE BEST!

***When we asked Blake why his snowman- "Frost" had a sad face he said, "It's because we are going to leave him."
Hayden
What more can I say about our amazing SNOW day..... Well, I asked my kids what their favorite part of the day was and they all said........ sliding down the hills!  I agree!

My Sweet Boys- Chase and Blake

We celebrated the first day of 2010 in the snow and what a fun day it was!  We went down the hills, built a snowman and drank lots of hot chocolate.  Even Lauren and Ella went down the hills on their very own sled- alone.  We found a really great place to sled and we had AWESOME parking.  Grandpa and Emily kept a great home base area with hot chocolate and food and places to sit.  I can't remember a more fun snow trip than this one!

2010

This is how we started out 2010!!!!!

I was up very early.  Then the kids got up and just lounged around watching movies.  I can't think of a better way to start 2010 then just hanging out with my kids, watching movies and wearing pajamas.  Then, we went and ate breakfast to get us fueled up for our anticipated SNOW DAY!!!!

New Year's Eve at KFC

New Year's Eve was pretty low key.  We went to dinner and then Coldstone.  After that we went back to the hotel and played games and celebrated a New York New Year's!!!!  Goodbye 2009!

New Year's in Flagstaff

First, we ate donuts in bed!

Then, the kids did not want to waste any time and they hopped into their swimsuits.

Where else would you see kids in their swimsuits with all that snow?
FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA

Scott was throwing all the kids in the air to see if they could touch the ceiling.  It looks like Hayden is stuck to the ceiling.

For New Year's we all went up to Flagstaff.  We had a fabulous time.  The hotel we stayed at was so nice and they had a "heated" swimming pool which the kids just loved!  They had a great breakfast every morning and hot chocolate was always on tap.  All my siblings and their families were there (the Fig's even came up but we did not see them until our last day there).
