"Families are as diverse as individuals. The activities they do together vary, but one thing is true for all of them: "In family relationships love is really spelled t-i-m-e, time." Whether family members get together for scheduled outings, sharing interests, or serving others, these gatherings strengthen relationships that can be eternal."
President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Belle's Baptism

On Saturday Belle got baptized.  She looked so beautiful in her new white dress.  Belle is such a sweet girl and made such a great choice to be baptized.  We love you Belle!  After the baptism we all went to Peter Piper Pizza to celebrate.  We had a great time spending the day with you.

I love him.

I love this little boy... so much...to infinity and beyond.

The tooth is out!

I went to pick up the kids from school and from a distance I could see it hanging around her neck.  It was the coveted plastic tooth holder reserved only for those VERY LUCKY kids who lose their teeth at school.  Hayden was smiling ear to ear and I knew EXACTLY why!  She has talked about wanting to lose a tooth at school since Kindergarten.  That super wiggly tooth, right next to the one Brian had pulled out just 2 days before finally fell out and to Hayden's good fortune, it happened at school.  That night she wore the necklace to bed.  Great, how is a tiny little tooth fairy suppose to open that big plastic container and remove the tooth all while Hayden is asleep.  Well, I guess she could not get it open because in the morning she had left money under Hayden's pillow and the tooth was still in the container.  For the next 2 nights Hayden wore the tooth necklace to bed in the hopes that the tooth fairy would come back and leave more money!!!!  (Good thinking Hayden but, I think the tooth fairy is to smart for that!)

The Other Siders

Tatum, Brylee, Hayden and Kayla pointing up to the flickering, haunted light in Grandma's closet.
This summer my kids discovered the show- The Other Siders.  Chase and Hayden love it.  I am still trying to convince Chase that it is not real and he just proceeds to tell me that that is just my opinion.  (Well, I am your mom so therefore my opinion is truth and should also be your opinion!)  So, the other day at my mom's the girls were all dressed up in the many many choices of dress up clothes at Grandma's house.  They decided that they were going to play "The Other Siders."  They went looking for clues and anything suspicious all over Grandma's house.  When they got to Grandma's closet they definitely found something suspicious.  The flashing light in her closet!!!!  The girls came running and screaming and begging us to come and see what they had found.  ***Note:  when you turn on the light in my parents closet if flashes for a few minutes and looks a little spooky- then it comes on. The girls were so proud of their "Other Siders discovery!"  We talked about it and the girls came to the conclusion that the closet is.........HAUNTED!

It HAD to Go!

Dad prepping for the event!
It is gone!
Yes, that is the tooth dangling from the floss!
3 teeth gone.....#4 soon to follow
Hayden's 2 front teeth have been sooooo wiggly.  It has changed the way her smile looks.  So last night she was in the bath and comes running out saying she bumped her tooth on the tub.  Her tooth is sticking straight out, still intact but completely horizontal.  YUCK!  I could not take it anymore.  (We had told Hayden if she still had her 2 front teeth by the time of 1st grade pictures we would give her $20.  At this point I was ready to just give her $20 to let Brian pull it.)  Brian went and got some dental floss, wrapped it around the tooth and pulled........ it came right out!  Hayden was so excited and that night the tooth fairy did not disappoint!

What Lauren Does All Day...

Now that the kids are back in school- Lauren has lost a few playmates.....ESPECIALLY Hayden!  Lauren was always Hayden's shadow and loved to do everything that Hayden would do.  Hayden always included her and would find games for them to play.  Hayden would dress Lauren up, play house, play with the doll house, store...... the list could go on and on.  Lauren really misses Hayden but, we (Lauren and I) still manage to play games and even dress up and of course eat lots of popsicles!!!
